Type of a scam Government Grant
I recd a text msg on June 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM – the text msg asked if I heard of the Bush Grant Foundation. The text msg stated congratulations your name is in our data bank. It was an entilement program that was set up by the Federal Govt. I was approved for a $150,000 grant; it’s not a loan and it’s for retirees. I was instructed to go to Walmart and purchase 5 gift cards for $100 each. Then I was to take a picture of the cards and text it to them; which I did. I’m having second thoughts about this and I’m going to report the perpetrators to the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357.
