Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was contacted through text messaging about an offer to received money to have my car "wrapped" in a Budweiser Beer Advertisment. I was told I would be sent a check through FedEx for $3400.89, I was to deposit this check through my mobile app or ATM and text a snap shot of the deposit record of the deposit to the above number. They said the check would clear the bank within 24 hour.I received the check on Friday, Oct 4 and went to the bank and asked they look over the check and they confirmed that this is a scam check. I continue to receive text messages from this person wanting to know if I am "getting" these texts. I also received a threating text telling me they are going to go to the FBI and CIA.
