Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

I was checking my email one day and I came across an email that was identified as looking like it was sent from Budweiser themselves. I opened the email and it had a pic of a car with Budweiser down the sides of it and it said below it that they were picking a few people to advertise for them and if I wanted to enter to see if I can get chosen and I filled out the application and about 2 weeks later I recieved another email stating that I shouldve recieved a check in the mail and for me to deposit it in the bank and then text my full name the check number the amount of the check to *************. I dont know if this is legit or not but I’m gonna have my bank check things out with the check before they deposit it. I dont want to cause any problems for my bank or myself. As much as I could use the money I also know that there are alot of people out there just trying to get people because they have nothing better to do than to try and ruin people’s lives!! Sincerly, Bart

Type of a scam Employment

Budweiser is currently seeking car owners / truck owners above 18 years to participate in an ongoing promotional advert for Budweiser. You will need to carry this promotional advert on the exterior surface of your Vehicle and you will be compensated with $350 weekly which is essentially a "rental"payment for letting our company use the space of your car, no application fees required from you.

This is how it works; the basic premise of the "paid to drive concept is to get people, regular citizens, professional drivers, and all car owners above eighteen(18) years old, to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with an advertisement for "Budweiser " plastered on their cars. The advertisements are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps" that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover some portion of your car’s exterior surface. You can decide to opt for a full wrap or a sticker. The full wrap will cover the whole exterior surface of the car while the Sticker will be on both doors as well as the hood. The pay doesn’t differ !

We have adopted this scope as it has been tested and certain to bring us more exposure and awareness since the wraps tend to be colourful, eye-catchy and attracts lots of attention

Successful candidates will be compensated with $350 weekly and This program is expected to last for Six (6) months and the minimum period you can participate is three(3). Due to the teeming candidates willing to participate in the program, we have signed agreements with few private specialists who will be responsible for placing and removing the advert placement on your car so as not to leave any damage/dent on your car during placement as well as removal.

If you feel this is a good fit and can participate for not lesser than 3 months, Kindly provide the requested information below

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I applied for a job online to put an ad on the side of my car. About a week later I got a text asking if I was still interested. I said yes. The person said you get a check for 1500.00 to deposit it take 1000.00 out to pay the man who put the ad on my car. The check I got was 1400.55 . The same day I got this check I got another text asking if I had gotten it. I said yes. I told him I would not take the money out until the check cleared. And I was going to talk to local police to make sure this was legal. He asked where this coming from.i replied I work in a prison and don’t trust people. The next day I called suntrust where the check was wrote on and they it not a real check. The funny thing is the check came from Ohio Auto body 45 Madison ave Youngstown oh 44505 and that’s a real business the text came from someone in Boston Massachusetts and the check from someone name Robert Rodney Hilton Head Island sc that’s my story make sure to check name and address and if sound to good to be true it is. And they said I get 500.00 a week as long as I keep the ad on my car for ever if I like. HAHA I GUESS THATS STOPPED BEFORE IT STARTED. Thanks
