Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
Bright Sky Film claims to be a production company based out of San Francisco that is hiring production assistants for an upcoming project. Everything seemed legitimate at first glance. Then, without ever interviewing me, they wanted to send me a check for $3500 to cover travel expenses. I was to take out $400 as a deposit for my fee and give the rest to a designated travel agent that would handle my travel & accommodations. I then began looking deeper into their website and team to discover that I could not verify any members of their team or their claimed credits such as American Idol & So You Think You Can Dance. There are no records of the people themselves or their work on IMDB or Google from what I could find.
