Bright Goldendoodle

Adriana – Aug 09, 2020

Thank you for your reviews. I was about to send money to purchase “Coral” when I read these reviews. I felt like something was not quite right so I started searching more about this “breeder”. I too was rushed to send money via Zelle and was told that was the only payment method accepted. They wouldn’t answer any questions about the puppy’s parents. They just kept replying how to make a payment. Thank you so much for writing your experiences so others do not fall victim.

They seemed really nice through email at first, and they seemed like many other dog breeders asking questions and stuff, but then when it came to payment, luckily, my Venmo didn’t go through, and when I asked if they could request the money from me, they replied with "put it in right and it should work". That set me back. I looked up their reputation and there were many sites that said they were a scam. They almost got me.

Had a legit looking website selling Goldendoodles. I inquiry and received a legit looking email asking information about family dynamic to make sure My home was a good fit for the dog. The red flag should have been a zelle request instead of PayPal or any other type of payment.

Person emailed asking several questions about my family and why we wanted to purchase a puppy. Sounded very caring and kind. Stated that they have 3 vouchers for free shipping that they wanted to provide me with one of them. Paid via Paypal, but then they stated that I paid without having a PayPal balance. They "refunded me my money", and then requested I go to a CVS for Moneygram payment. Everything was in order. Sent an invoice stating that the bill of sale was completed. Will hold the puppy until I want it to be shipped. When it came time to ship, the "owner" was very rude. REFUSED to have a phone discussion. Then had a fake company send an invoice for an "air-conditioned" crate and to rent this, I will need to pay $2000 via Western Union. The Paypal credit did not go through, so I am out $1500. Police report filed and hiring a P.I. so that no one else will fall for this horrendous person’s scam. STAY AWAY FROM BRIGHTGOLDENDOODLE. Karma will get them.

DO NOT BUY FROM BRIGHT GOLDENDOODLES. I was initially told that I would have to pay $750 and that would include the cost of the dog and shipping cost for the airplane. I paid the money and then was told I had to pay an extra $937 to get an AC crate for the dog to be shipped on the plane. I refused because that wasn’t in the contract. I asked for a refund and was told "you are making this complicated. Stop being difficult, you can’t have a refund. You can only pay the cost for the AC crate." I again refused because that wasn’t in the contract. After that, they stopped replying and won’t answer any phone calls, texts or emails. Up until this point, everything seemed normal. They sent me pictures and videos of the dog whenever I would ask, etc. We paid through Paypal and Paypal said they weren’t authorized to do anything because these people were already under investigation. My question is, why the hell would my PayPal transaction go through then?!?! Take it from me, don’t let yourself get scammed by bright goldendoodles and NEVER use PayPal.

This website is selling Golden Doodles online, but is a complete scam. They ask for payment before seeing the dog and they have a Michigan area code phone number, but says their house it located in Virginia. I know a person who paid them and was directed to come to the house but it was someone’s residence that had no idea of selling dogs.

I was attempting to purchase a puppy from bright goldendoodle, the puppy we were looking at is named "Coral" on their website. They asked me to choose the friends and family option on paypal which gives the buyer not money protection. I felt uncomfortable and did a Whois which shows you who owns the website and who the website is registered under. I typed in the name name, website name, and "scam", so Bryan Carl bright goldendoodle scam. And on PetScams.com someone reported this website and a screenshot of the puppy i was planning on buying. I reported the site to paypal and to my bank. The email they tried using to make you send money to was [email protected], so avoid this. Never send money through paypal using friends/family option if they are not someone you know in real life.
