Applied for position through Zip Recruiter and received a response to connect via a Gmail chat session. I thought it was a little odd, but connected to a chat session. They asked some employment questions and then said I was selected and would be paid via direct deposit and asked for my bank info. Subsequent dialogue was sketchy, not proper English and continued to ask for Bank info. I told them I’d have to think about it.

I received an email from "*** ***" (***) regarding a work from home position with B*** and W*** Hostipal. I was to contact *** *** HR manager at BWH via yahoo IM. I was to receive $4100, deposit it into MY BANK ACCOUNT to purchase office equipment.

First Step in process "using this link ( ***/ ) after the process make sure Mrs. *** *** the HR Manager is added to your yahoo messenger friend’s list for the Job Interview and comprehensive Job details, here is her yahoo IM ( *** )".

This is a SCAM. After contacting BWH, ** *** is an HR Specialist, but no such position exist and BWH HR representative assured me HR will not contact applicants via Yahoo IM.
