Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I posted a car for sale on Ebay and within 15 min MAORI_22 wanted to buy it. After that the only contact i has with then was via text. they said they would send a check. Once i received it they asked that i deposit it and text them a pic that it was done. the check they sent was double what i sold the car for, they said it was for shipping and i was to zelle the shipper their payment. Once i did this my bank notified me that the check bounced and was fraudulent. Since i approved the transfer they can not do anything for me.
