Type of a scam Romance
A friend request on Instagram lead to talking and texting. Two phone calls using WhatsApp but thick accent. Claimed to be a D.O. on a oil rig doing a one year contract. Had a 14 year old son who lives with Nanny in Boston. Emailed all the time a first stating he loved her and wanted to marry her. Asked for money, AT&T account information and ordered 6 cell phones (promising to pay her back from the people he had her mail the phones too. Bought PS4s and smart watches through flexshopper. Had he mail these items to other people promising she’d get reimbursed.
Cut back with texting out of the blue.
