I responded to a well-written Instagram ad. I then received a phone call by a very smooth salesperson. This person acted very professional. They promised to Market my smallcompany via online media on Instagram and Facebook. They gathered information from me and asked me to agree to spend $299 for them to advertise my company. They promised me that They would not publish my ad until I had reviewed it, they charged me. Several weeks went by and I did not hear anything. I sent them an email asking about my ad and they responded that the ad was already running, though I had it seen it or signed off on it. They sent me an email 3 months later claiming that 2000 people had seen my ad. Then, with no warning or email notification, they charged my account another $299. I immediately looked back through my emails and realized they don’t even show a website on their correspondence and the person that had been sending me emails doesn’t show their last name. And the phone number I call claims that customer service is too busy to answer the phone and to please leave a message. After several emails and leaving a message, a company representative just responded to me saying that I agreed to spend the money with them on the phone and that they could not reverse the charge. However, they were willing to cancel and refund $250 of the total. I say no. I want all of my $299 back and am going to expose them as the scammers they are.
