Type of a scam Identity Theft
I received a phone call from 703-276-0100 telling me that I ordered carpet. The person said my full name and said he spoke with me in person. I told him that I did not order carpet and asked if this was a prank call. The person hung up on me. I googled the number and found the name Brian Myers who lives on Wiggins Bay St in Las Vegas Nevada. When I googled that information, I found the website http://www.liqco.com with a picture of Brian and a different phone number. When I called this number, Brian answered and I said this was the guy you spoke with a few minutes ago about carpet. He said he did not speak with me, and please disregard everything. I thought it was unusual because he was quick to get off the phone and did not want to speak with me about the prior discussion. I was more concerned with identity theft because he had my name and phone number.
