I received a phone call on July 31st from someone representing themselves as calling from "Blue Choice" (my insurance carrier). I said "I could not understand her." Then she said, "I’m calling from Medicare, and asked me if I was 75." I stupidly replied "yes" and the call disconnected. I checked the incoming number and called it right back. I reached another man who is a Senior with the same insurance carrier who lives in Canandaigua. He is getting at least a call per week so his telephone number has been hijacked. He said I was the first to talk with him about what was happening. His number is ***-***-***. On August 2, I received a call saying I was approved for my cash advance of $1500, I believe. The call came in from 872-772-2397, unknown number. I’m not sure at this point if I have lost money or not.
