Type of a scam Employment
I was offered a work from home job by a Taylor Charles and a Melisa Bowman. They said I was going to receive a week of training and then I would receive a check to buy some equipment or software necessary to do the job and insisted on me opening a bank account (which I did not open). After 2 days I received a check for $3750.00 via US Mail, which I did not cash. I did not sign any work contract or was asked to confirm receipt of the check, which I find suspicious. Also, they have not contacted me ever since.
I fear they might use my name on any scams or pin a loan on my name.
They disclosed several different Yahoo and Gmail screen names. They never called or gave me a phone number to call.
