In the month of August 2017, A man from BJ Construction came to my parents home in Cleveland Texas. My dad in an 85 year old veteran & has Alzheimer. My mom is 77 with a recent pacemaker. He filled out a contract for $1600 to get a leak on the porch repaired. He wanted $800 up front for materials, in cash, which she gave him. He came 3 days later, started working, then told her that he would need more money. After signing a contract for $1600. He needed an additional $1700, which she gave him after he was finished & that she had a 20 year contract…A week later the porch was still leaking. She called him he came out & told her it would be another $1100, even though she had a 20 year contract. He con her in to giving him the first contract. He gave her a different contract with 2 year warranty. She paid this guy $4800 & their porch still leaks the same, if not worse. He wanted to be paid in cash, not checks Or cashiers check. She got his name from some flyer in her mailbox. All she has is a name, BJ Construction & a # 832-954-9704. So if anyone receives a flyer like that throw in it the trash or you might get scammed to.
