Type of a scam Online Purchase
While searching for bargains on a pair of birks for my granddaughter, I found this website’s ad on a google search. When I went to the cart to check out, Firefox alerted me that the site was not an encrypted site. I checked the web page, which had no permissions. I just felt uneasy and suspicious. When I clicked their BBB seal, nothing happened. I decided to go to your website to check them out, where I was unable to find any company by that name. No address, phone number, or email address was provided on their website. When I did a scam check using the keyword birkenstock, I came up with a couple of very similar reports of companies with different names, so I thought you might want to investigate, esp. since they are displaying your seal of approval. I did not, however, enter any of my personal information or place my order, so if it is a scam, I was just a target, not a victim. Thanks so much for providing this service for consumers.
