Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I am not sure if this is fake but I’m reporting a possible scam.
I work for jewelry business and I sell right from my home. This person was trying to buy things from me approx 300 bucks worth but sent me the check for over 2,000 by "mistake" with their miscommunication between two people. There was email going back and forth between which I’ve printed for hard copy. I am having uneasy feeling. The bank is from AmegyBank in Houston,Texas. I don’t even know if that is a real bank. I’m asking BBB to look into it and see if its real. Thank you.
