Purchased an item on bestdealappliances.com website on june 28th 2018. Never received the product. The item was paid for on my credit card. I never received a refund, my item and now can’t access the website which seems to be shut down.

During a routine search to purchase a small air conditioner, BestDealAppliances.com popped up in the Google search results and also under "where to buy" category. Their website seemed legit at the time. However, in the course of trying to track my package, their website is no longer functional.
Upon closer examination of my invoice, an order number was given but with no customer service number to call with any questions. I have reported this to my bank and will also report it to the Consumer Protection Division of the State of Vermont.

I might’ve gotten scammed on an online purchase from this website called Bestappliances.com. I bought a window mounted ac unit but had not realized that this website is super new and I can hardly find any information about the site. The website looks legit but it hardly has any traffic and now it doesn’t even show up on search engines. Infact I don’t even know how I stumbled upon this website. Could be because the website is supposed to be new, but I have a bad feeling about this so I’m reporting just in case.

Made a purchase on the site. Within two days I received an email stating my order had been cancelled and that I would be refunded. The refund never came, and when I tried to contact the merchant the contact links on the website did not work, and the phone number listed on my order email was not answered – nor was it even a business phone number.
