Type of a scam Credit Cards
The scammer called our room at 10pm. That was the first warning sign. A hotel will almost never call you that late. The scammer said that there was a bi-weekly review taking place downstairs at the front desk. They proceeded to ask for our credit card information and assured us that we would receive a 25% discount because of the inconvenience. Fortunately we decided to go downstairs to conduct such a delicate conversation only to discover that this was a scam. Beware!
