My elderly parents were contacted by this company that told them they had identified an issue with their computer. My mom and dad had previously signed up for virus protection. They told them that they needed some gift cards to pay for the fix and that they would send them a reimbursement check. Do not pay for services with apple gift cards or gift cards of any sort.

Company contacted me through the computer about 3 weeks ago and told me I had viruses on her computer from another company. They told me they could remove the viruses for $999.99 for a 5 year contract.  Company requested payment by personal check only. The company had control of the computer and asked that I hold the check up to the computer screen. They were then able to access my account information. The company told me to call them every month and to not let anyone else touch my computer. I paid for the service and states the company installed "junk." My nephew got involved, found negative posts on the company, and was able to un-install what the company had added. Contacted my bank closed the account, and am changing my phone number. Th Company has been calling nearly every day, 4-6 times a day, since I contacted her bank about stopping payment on the check. They have threatened me with collection. The caller sounds foreign and when he calls, I can hear a lot of voices in the background speaking other languages. The caller has not told me where the company is located. He gives his name as Kelvin, at extension 426. The phone numbers for the company are 1-855-704-1390 and 1-855-704-1391.
