Type of a scam Employment
I received a USPS packet with a letter & a check for $1847.00 included. The letter told me to cash the check, deposit $250 for my salary. I am instructed to take $1500 and purchase various gift cards from eBay, Home Depot & Walmart then make a report about any trouble I had purchasing multiple cards, who my cashier was, how I was treated in the store. I am to scratch off the back of the cards, take pictures of the cards & receipt and email to the address given. If I did this in 12 hours I would get a bonus.
