I received an email with a job offer as a secret shopper for a local business. They sent me a large check and the instructions set off red flags to me, so I called Best Mark and was informed this is a scam and these people are fraudently using their business name.

I clicked a link to an opportunity as a secret shopper. A few days later I got a text to say I was approved and would follow up with instructions. I told me I was suspicious and asked to research company. He texted Best Mark. There is a Bestmark company but I was totally onto him. He then sends a check for $3,982.00 and tells me to text him the minute it is deposited. I called the number and got a standard voicemail greeting.
