Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
This company pretended to be an original Rothy’s Shoes seller, offering discounted brand shoes. The website they used seemed to be Rothys.com through out choosing items and paying, though right after paying, the confirmation arrives with bestclothingonsale.com on it. They also charge for the delivery, which was odd.
Shoes arrived after 3 weeks, but not the model I ordered. I contacted the seller’s provided email, and was told that the shoes I ordered were out of stoke, and not available in another size. The seller then suggested that I will keep the shoes or sell them to someone, and they will give me 5% discount towards another purchase. When I asked to return the shoes, I was told sending back will cost more than the shoes, and that they do not do that. (no return address was provided at any time).
I learned that the shoes were faked, and also alerted Rothy’s shoes that this seller is pretending to be them, and is using their URL through the transaction.
The only way I realized the shoes were faked was the Rothy’s website written upside down on the inner label. Everything else looked legitimate, though it wasn’t
