Originally found the site on Google. I did a search with the BBB and other review sites and did not find anything negative before I contacted the company.
I later did a reverse photo search and found the site to be consistent with http://louisaussies.com/ as well (same pngage layout, same photos, etc.). The testimonials used the same photos for each site, but the testimonial language was different between the two (names, locations, etc.).
I spoke, texted, and emailed with the scammer. The first person spoke perfect English. After the money was transferred to them, any follow-on discussions were with someone that was obviously of foreign descent. The scammer was able to quickly provide additional photos and videos of the pet.
The shipping site (http://mastershippinglogistics.com/track-shipment) is also connected to the scam.
After I sent the initial $1100 for two puppies, I was informed they were in transit. I then received a message stating that I had to pay $1880 for insurance and that the insurance fee was fully refundable. I refused to send the money and then I was informed that the dogs were now registered in my name (although I had not registered them) and that they would be stuck at the airport and that the seller would not be able to pick them up (because they were registered in my name). They then informed me that we (seller and myself) would be charged by the police for abandoning the animals.
