A company (in my case represented by Anthony Mendoza and Christopher Kersh with Invesment Properties of Santa Rosa, CA) calls with a perspective buyer of my timeshare and then turns over the closing to Berlin and Associates who emails a closing document with wire transfer info.
As part of the scam yet another person calls saying they cannot release the property without a certificate of release and it must come from the account of the timeshare owner. That fee is 10%.
