Called locksmith on Friday Jan 13, 2017, locked car keys in my apartment in Detroit MI 48207.
Googled locksmith in my area and called number, got quote and gave info for service technician to come to apartment. Technician got there and charged 2 times what was quoted on phone and wanted cash after opening door. Was scared and felt vulnerable so paid him. Never received a receipt. Called number 3x to get receipt.
Really think I was scammed. Never asked for my ID to get into apartment and would not take credit card unless I paid additional 16% (10% c fee plus sales tax).
