Type of a scam Employment
First, let me tell you that I received a random email approximately 3-4 weeks ago. I did not see it until now because my email service automatically sent it to the spam folder. I assume this is how they knew to mention Workforce Solutions.
On 01/27/2019, I received a text from a person identifying themself as Mrs. Felicia Wealth with Benitec Biopharma Worldwide and later in the communication as Benitec Biopharma LTD from Australia, opening offices in the United States. The person said they received my resume from Workforce Solutions. They provided a list of jobs they are looking to fill, one of which is in my field. They asked me to download a google app called ‘Hangouts’ for further detailed information about them and for an online interview. The conversation sounded professional, with some occasional misused words. They asked for my full name, address and phone number. All information they should have had from the resume they said they had. I confirmed with my local Workforce Solutions office that they are not partnered with this company nor do they have any of this company’s jobs posted on their site.
