I am selling my car on Craigslist currently and was emailed by a man named Ben Hart and first reached out to ask if there have been any accidents reported on the vehicle. I replied with no and asked if wanted to further discuss over the phone.
He immediately replied with suggesting I get an auto report with everything that had ever been done to the vehicle to “speed up the sale”. At first I took offense to it..thinking “i can handle selling my car myself, thank you”. And then I thought it was strange, and searched the website on google. Turns out it’s fake.
