Type of a scam Online Purchase
I ordered a comforter on Oct. 19, 2016; order #940595. The website said it would be delivered in 5-7 business days. When I didn’t receive it, I called their phone number. The phone had 3 lines, all of which said I’d reached their accounting department–even line 1, which stated it was the order line–and their mailbox was full. My emails have been returned; not deliverable. On Nov. 1, I received an email stating that my order would be shipped in 4 to 7 business days. It is now Nov. 14th. I just checked this order; there is no information available. The website states that no information will be available until the order has shipped.
My credit card company informed me there is a hold on my credit card. These people may simply be collecting credit card numbers; now they have mine.
