The scam use is to deposit two checks for 2,450 each into my account and do some telemarketing for them under cover at any Walmart and I’m to keep two hundred dollars and buy things ,pay bills, credit card s shop for things and not let Walmart know for competent.

I was looking for a job online, I found this posting for a mystery shopper. This guy, Alex Baker, answered my call. It sounded like I woke him up. He sent me a check and a letter saying the company has been around since 1951. They said I’d be a secret shopper at places like Walmart. Then, they sent a check from Army Aviation Center Credit Union for $2450. Their instructions said to deposit the check, text them, keep $200, shop at Walmart with the other $2250.

I found the job on Indeed. Alex Baker, Bass Company was hiring me to be a secret shopper. I got a check in the mail today for $2450.00. They wanted me to purchase items at Walmart, then send an evaluation. They want me to deposit the check in my account. Then I am to let them know I deposited the money. The check is written against, Kellogg Community Credit Union.

I received a priority mailed envelope with a paper and check that claimed to be a secret shopper company. The check was from a Fort Knox Federal Credit Union. I have called them and they said it was a bad check based off the check number.

When on the internet to look up Bass Company and we found a website but could not click on any links. And the company claim to represent Walmart corporations, but Walmart’s website clearly states they don’t use mystery shoppers nor do they hire third company’s for mystery shoppers.
