I am a breeder of French Bulldogs who just had our logo and domain name stolen from someone using the same above mentioned phone number. He stole every word of our AKC write up and is in the process of trying to scam other potential buyers. Please do your research and get references.We are trying to figure out if we can find him and how to pursue legally.
I believe I just had contact with the scammer last night. I thought I was talking to Scott Clark form Leash Candy Frenchies in Seattle WA about a puppy named Angel. When I asked for more pics one of the pictures I was sent was a screenshot from social media posted February 29th, yet the person claimed Angel was only 12 weeks old. When I looked up the area code of the number I was texting it was a Utah area code. Please let me know how to contact you if you would like screenshots of my conversation with this person or if there is any way I can help you.
Crushed that I am being scammed. I thought it was finally my time for a Frenchie.
We are interested in purchasing a French Bulldog puppy from this Breeder, however we are apprehensive due to so many scams. Trying to determine if this is a legitimate Breeder. If anyone with experience with this Breeder could share their experience, it would be greatly appreciated.

The scammer has a website offering bulldog puppies. After much correspondence we talked about the dog and sent them our money. Once they confirmed receipt of the money the communication went hazy. The following morning their phone had been disconnected and they assured us that it was messed up but they would stay in contact via email. They requested our shipping information i.e. name and address then we have yet to hear back. They have assured us they will provide tracking information but we have not hear another word.

We contacted seller about a french bulldog he was selling by email per the contact information on his website. He then switched to texting us and eventually we spoke on the phone. He sent us video and photos of the dog and we decided to fill out adoption application and purchase the dog. We agreed to pay half (750.00) now and half (750.00) when dog was delivered. He assured us shipping was free. Once he received payment he told us he would send us shipping info and when to expect the dog. We received the shipping info and everything seemed to be set. The next day however we received notification from the shipping company that we needed to send them $1,850.00 to insure the dog before the dog can be sent. To our knowledge the dog was already supposed to be in transit to us but evidently found out she was not. We spoke to seller and told him he was responsible for insurance as it was still his dog. We went back and forth because at this point we got very suspicious. I can also not find a Lancelot Shipping on the internet. At this point we realized we were scammed so we spoke to owner of the dog and requested our down payment be refunded. He insisted we pay for the insurance and that he would even pay half himself. Not trusting him at all at this point at all we requested a refund of our money. Refund has not been received.

We researched for a French bulldog and were working with Petert the owner of the 5 dogs on his website which also states a member of the AKC and did purchase And send money for Gina a puppy from Peter at Basils French bulldogs They also provided us this email [email protected] While we were working with him. The puppy has never showed up nor is the phone on the site where we contacted him in service any longer. The phone and website still show this number. Just want others to beware
