Received a text message this morning with this message:
I’m Barrister Robert Amsterdam; I have a client who is interested on
JV partnership with you acting as the manager and sole controller of the
investment while he remains a silent investor for a period of ten (10)
years. KINDLY INDICATE YOUR INTEREST; E-MAIL ME: [email protected] .

Type of a scam Business Email Compromise
I received a text message from a person who only used email or text messaging to communicate with me. There’s no number included at all. The message states there’s a person who’s interested in a partnership where they remain a silent investor…etc.. I am not in a career field that would ever include partnerships.
