I received a call from an "ID Blocked" number. The female on the other end stated that they needed to deliver legal papers concerning a complaint against me. I told her I had no idea of what she was talking about. At this point she said she would postpone delivery so I could call Barrington and Associates at 626-386-8144 with their file number.
Little did she know I had received this same call almost a year prior, from the same people. When I called the first time, they said I owed money to a company I had never dealt with, and that they would stop legal proceedings if I paid them.

I received a "No Caller ID" on my cell phone. I answered it as sometimes my husband’s business comes across with no caller information. I was asked to verify some information. I did not. The person on the other end of the phone asked me if my name was "XXXXXXX". I said nothing. He said that I needed to call Barrington and Associates at 626-386-8144 in regard to a legal complaint filed against me. He would not give me any information. He told me to reference file: 83844GS. I suspect this is a scam as I don’t have any debt against me that isn’t legitimate.
