"Thomas" met with us in person to install an awning. He promised the job would be complete within 3-5 weeks- Its been well over 9 weeks and has stopped answering phone calls – He kept giving us the run around with excuses and installer not ready– but now his fake website is also gone so I will try and fight this too. The website was www.awningsnewyork.ORG. We did give him a deposit of 1625.00 in check- He ran with it. The problem with this company is that they are acting as a different company awningsnewyork.COM, WHICH is actually a legitimate awning company.
This is a fraudulent business . They have a bunch of different addresses that they use and the guy "Thomas" just goes around blindly robbing people.
