Type of a scam Employment
I received an invite to be interviewed for a customer service (remote) position via google hangouts. After answering a couple of basic question around my availability I was immediately offered the job and told training would start the following day. Where? On google hangouts of course. The scammer didn’t get very far and raised my suspicions very early, but they did waste about 40 minutes of my time with all the back and forth and of course are sullying an actual legitimate business’ good name. I will be advising them of the scam today.
