I’ve been contacted by multiple people from this organization, multiple times, regarding an interest in writing about the company I work for. The first time, they said they needed testimonials from vendors or clients, and asked for their contact information. They then called each of the three contacts I provided and asked them for money for advertising, using high pressure sales tactics. I wish I had vetted them more than by just looking at their web site. If you google "Avenir Publishing" you’ll come across many people similarly mislead.
