I have a car for sale on Autotrader.com I received a call from the number, 724-795-1967, but they hung up and instead I got a text message a few minutes later claiming a bad signal in their area. Asked for a day they could check out the car. After I replied, they asked for a title report from a company I never heard of, autoreportsinfo.com. The website looks nice, but is kind of basic unlike other car title websites. The website given to me ended up forwarding me to a different website, www.doctorbeepbeep.com. I put my vin in and it asked for credit card info right away. I paused and started looking up the website in a whois registry and received another text from the scammer, sounding impatient. I could find nothing that told me this was a legit website, so I texted back that I could provide a report from a website I trusted. I never heard back from them.
