I was contacted to become a secret shopper. It seemed legit at first but when my friend looked into it deeper for me she found the site has spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors as well as the fact that they didn’t have any additional links on the site such as FAQs, testimonials, customer service, or reviews. I was accepted with very little info submitted, and they sent me a check totaling $3950.17 and was instructed to purchase Ebay gift cards and text them photos of the cards and exposed PIN numbers. I inquired with the man, Rob Sivia, through text as to why there wasn’t anything on the site and never got a response. I hope this helps anyone to not get scammed by these fake people. They do have my phone number, name, and home address. But no other info was shared with them.
