I called man to fix gutter downspout by finding a handyman in my local paper. Man came. Gutter leaked in every seam. called back 6 times. 2 no call no shows. I stupidly thought he would make it right . he did not. I decided to file in small claims court. I needed an address to serve them. I went to the news paper to get their address. the woman at the paper called them and asked. they had no business address and the woman answering the phone refused to give an address. she asked if I was there by name and I said yes. she said that her son who did the work was in jail. i then found the address on the internet. but then i learned that the court cannot make anyone pay , they just do a judgement. I am just out $250 dollars
