I received two of these emails today. I actually did call the number and when I got the standard “the caller you are trying to reach is unavailable” message I figured it was a scam and hung up. I got a call back later and they said they were affiliated with geek squad and I subscribed to the service when I bought my computer (nope) and that to cancel he would give me a website to log into. I told him he could send me an email with my account and log in information and he said in a very condescending way “ma’am that is not how this works… I will have you go to a website from your computer.” CLEARLY a scam where they are trying to hack into my computer. I hung up on him after that.

FWIW, my computer was hacked a few days ago. They used my passwords to hack my Walmart, Amazon, Facebook and a couple of other accounts … luckily I could fix it before they did too much damage.
I think this came from the same hack.
They got my info from an attack on stock photo provider 123RF, where I had an account.
Be wary.

I received an email today from Artemis. The email stated that my membership was automatically renewed at a fee of $379 for a product called PCHeal. I am not familiar with this company, have never done business with them nor given them any money in the past.

I received this email today. I checked my bank account and I don’t seem to have any charges. So I take it this is a scam for me to call in so that they get a chance to hack my computer… The structure is similar to a few posted on here as well. See below:

I received this and never ordered anything from them and I am currently checking my bank cards to make sure there is no charge. I did try calling the # and it’s not connected to anything but static on the line, so I hung up quick. You’ll notice below when I copy and pasted the phone #’s they had some invisible code in there that wasn’t in the original email and only appeared when I copy pasted.

Email came from lynn kennedy but when signed, name was reverse and said Kennedy Lynn. I’ve noticed sometimes they abbreviate the name and it shows as ARTMIS.
TOTAL SCAM PEOPLE, WATCH OUT.
I also googled and came up with Artemis 360 and it pulls up some random apparel site. Be careful of this also.

I got 2 emails this week. The second saying it “Geek Squad” I know it’s BS. No logo, they just want you to call them and then they try to get you to log into your computer so they can hack it.

Tyler – Oct 27, 2020

Just got a similar email saying Artemis was charging $519.00 USD for a subscription. What they list as contact phone numbers are very strange and are links that they want to trick the reader to click (if using a cell phone) – probably a link to a virus. Email was from “:Joy Seena” but signed “Sam Curran”. Besides the email coming from a private email address, punctuation errors are another tip-off that it is a scam. Here is the email:
