Type of a scam Employment
Arnies Furnace services sent a text about an interview for a graphic design position after I had been spending the entire week applying for various graphic design positions. The position was for a work from home freelance graphic design position with a flexible schedule paying $15/hour. The interview was conducted through google hangout and after about and hour after answering interview questions I was hired and the so called HR Director whose name is Larry wood sent me an agreement to sign and asked for me to send a photo of my ID along with the signed form so that they could send me a check to purchase the equipment needed for work. The email read that I was to deposit this check and send a copy of the receipt to Larry wood and after that a manager named Michael Austin would come to my residence and set up the equipment and begin my training. The check was sent to my address for $7,630.00.
I went to my bank and the bank that the check was written from to confirm if it was a good check and both banks believed it to be a scam.
