The name Apple appeared on my phone they told me that my IP address had been hacked and I need it to go to the nearest store and purchase an eBay card or any kind of card to pay for the service to fix the security on my IP address because hackers had infiltrated my IP address so deep that they could not use my iTunes account. They said they could stay on the phone with me and till I drove to the store and depending on how many devices I had I would have to buy a card for $2000 and it would be refunded I told them that if they were Apple they would not have to use a card from any other organization to fix anything that had to do with security and that it was a scam and that I was going to report them

Home phone ring I picked up he said was from Apple that my iCloud account was hacked. Keep asking me to get on a regular computer or laptop. Told him been using my iPad and phone ask me for zip code I gave it to him. Then he ask if there was a Walmart or Target close by. I said if your gonna ask for a money card then we have prolbems. He hung up on phone it reads Apple Inc 19413584600 I called it back it says some scams have been happening

I am receiving many call from fake caller id supplanting Apple Support. The caller id matches with apple contact number 1-800-692-7753. The scam call says that I have to call to a different number, Below details of the voice mail they left last time:
“Acted some suspicious hacking activities on your Apple account please do not use your Apple devices until you speak with an Apple support representative please refrain using any financial activity on your devices in order to speak with an Apple support representative right now please press one or else call us back on our toll-free number 1-888-491-8071 I repeat it’s 1-888-491-8071 thank you…”

I am 72 years old. On 1.29.19, I was working on my Apple IPad and got a message on the screen there was a security breach, the message was flashing and took up the whole screen, there was an 877 number to call back. I called the 877 number and left a vm. Then I got a call on my cell phone, from a man who said his name was Steven Michaels. He said he worked for Apple and gave me his Apple ID. He said they could protect the security on my IPad indefinitely no matter how many devices I bought. He said go to your local grocery store and buy five Google Play cards for $500 each and four Apple cards for $400 each. I went to Kroger on Broad St, Columbus, OH for the Apple Cards. One of the cashier’s tried to tell me not to buy the cards. But Steven was on the phone with me during the purchases and he told me not to tell the cashier anything, or the cashier would tax me horrendously. You can’t use a debit card to buy cards, so I went to my bank Fifth Third which is located inside the Kroger at Great Eastern Shopping and withdrew $500 to purchase the Google Play Cards. The bank teller did not ask me any questions. After each transaction, he asked me to scratch off the security number from the backs of the cards and read the numbers to him. Which I did. Then he said you’re going to have lots of security and hung up. When I got home, I looked up Apple’s corporate number, and called them. The Apple employee said if he gets enough cases he’ll alert the FTC. The FTC called me. But when I called them back they didn’t have a record of me. I changed my cell phone number. I filed a police report. Steven Michaels did not have an accent. I called Google Play and they said the cards had already been activated. I am a retiree. I had been saving the money in case something happened. I called the Ohio Attorney General and they said call BBB.

Call from “Apple” tech support claiming iCloud account was hacked by Russians. I spoke to the “Technician “ who had my Email address, name and address and said they could fix the problems if they could access my computer. I hung up at that point and they called approx. 9 more times on my answer machine.

We got the number from online for Apple customer support and it seemed very authicate until we had to buy gift cards one of which was given to this person through a phone number and when we checked to see if it worked for us it was already redeemed.

Pretending to be Apple asking for CC and SIN number to pay for a fake bill; it shows as something I’ve apparently bought (iTunes). This is the second email to me, and I’ve heard of others that have received this fake email.
