Type of a scam Tech Support
Recieved a pop up message in my iphone stating that my phine was infected with malware and viruses. Instructed to call apple ios at the provided number (888-210-9268).
After calling the "technician" said I had 43 individuals connected to my device. Asked for my name address and email. Then said he needed my credit card info and it would cost $150 to clear my phone and secure my network.
I got suspicious and hung up the phone. This number is not associated with apple support and is a scam.
