Received robo call stating there was a breach in my apple icloud account. I was told to press 1 to for technical support or call back at 844-889-9156 for help with this breach. I did neither. Started with 2 calls to my landline on May 18, 2017, and may 19, 2017. Received a call every hour between 2:00pm and 8:00pm on Sunday May 21, 2017.

Type of a scam Online Purchase
Received an email stating that my apple id was compromised. A document was attached indicating that I made an in app purchase of $15.98. I attempted to respond to the email by clicking resolve as instructed (after all, it’s apple). My computer virus and malware wouldn’t allow the resolve website so my computer protection saved me a great headache. I checked credit card information and discovered that no charge was made to it which reinforces my belief that this is a scam. I am hopeful my credit card won’t be compromised but so far there is no evidence of that. I went on the internet and discovered other scam emails that are supposed to be from apple. I hope this report will be of help in some way.
