Type of a scam Phishing
I received 9 calls in a period of two and a half hours from a company claiming to be Apple Inc. sending me an alert by an automated recording saying my icloud account had been breached and advised not to use my Apple devices until speaking with technical support first. Then they give you the option to press one to speak to tech support now or two to hang up. I pressed one for tech support and when the asian man got on the phone i asked why do you keep calling my number which he then immediately hung up. I knew this was a scam from the minute i answered because I do not have any Apple devices or account. It is extremely frustrating!!! So close to having phone just shut off but unfortunately need a land line due to lack of cell signal at home.
