They call and state they are shutting down their company and they are refunding your money back. He stated that he would put the money back in my online banking account. She informed him that she did not have an online banking account and he advised that he could set on up and asked for my banking information. They also wanted to swap out my Norton Security for Alpemix V 4.0. The name Ray Jackson was mentioned while I was on the phone with them. He advised that she would be getting back $300 as the refund.

While working at my computer a window popped up saying someone was trying to break into my computer and I should call this number for help. I did and the guy said he was an Apple computer tech and wanted to sell me a security program. I totally fell for it and paid him $900 for a 3 year plan for two computers. He actually gave me Malwarebytes — it is a free program available online! I fell for it. He even got me to pay for it on Pay Pal, calling my payments "gifts", plus payment with some iTunes cards. I should have known!

I’ve been changing passwords on all my sites and had my computers and phone inspected by Apple for cookies he may have installed.

I was suspicious but he was a good talker.
