My Wife received phone call afternoon of Aug 23, 2019, notifying her that her apple ID had been compromised. They asked her to get on computer. At that time, I got on computer so they could show us the details of the issue. They identified themselves as Apple Care, names Mike Miller employee ID 269482584 and Eric employee ID 204790. They were very convincing and told me in order to apply top of the line security I would have to purchase a Game Stop gift card for $500.00 to pay for the security but that $500.00 would be returned to me in 3 to 4 days.
