Type of a scam Online Purchase
An offer to obtain a free sample of their product, just pay shipping was submitted. A charge of $149.95 was put on my credit card instead of the shipping fee of $4.95. The receipt was from a different company called Brain + who sold essentially the same product. This company claimed not to have trial samples. It was buy one get one free. And they would return $100 but we had to pay $49.95 for the buy one get one free. We said in that case we were returning the package without opening it. They said we would have to
pay a $15 restocking fee. I called my credit card company and they are disputing the charges. The organization we ordered from with the free trial, when we called them, claimed to never have heard of us. These 2 companies are running a scam.
