Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I posted an item on craigslist, and soon after got a response to buy this item. He would pay me extra to take it off craigslist and have his shipper pick it up. He text two days latter (with a different phone) that his partner had sent a check, but for the wrong amount. He wanted me to cash the check and send him the difference. I checked with the business on the check and it was bogus. I told him I would send the check back to him just give me an address. Never heard back from Anthony .
