On March 29 we received a call from a representative of Progressive Business Publications offering a subscription to a newsletter called Keep up to date on Payroll, we did not authorized for any type of service so the representative said she will send us a sample and then call us back to see if we like it and start a subscription. We received the Newsletter with an invoice billing us for a 23 month subscription (see image attached) where it says the Original Order was dated March 29, 2016. We did NOT order it, the representative of Progressive Business Publications voluntarily said will mail us a sample. As you can see the invoice does not include a phone number, e-mail address, no way to contact them, but 6 months ago we were in the same situation were after deeply research this business we were able to find their phone number (610) 695-8600 and canceled the same type of fraudulently opened subscription. They will try to contact different people within a company and do not let them go until they get that person’s full name and e-mail and if possible their birthday to make it look like that person did authorized a contract.
