I went online to purchase a Ragdoll Kitten. I paid them $499.00 on Venmo because the website stated it was their 10th anniversary and they were having a sale. Next I get a text message that the kitten was taken to the shipper and would be at my house by 12/9/2019 and asked that I send pics of the kitten in his new home. Then I get an email from the shipper telling me I need to rent a thermal crate and the cost would be $1500.00 to $2800.00 but the money would be refunded when the kitten was delivered. I explained that I did not have that kind of money and I wouldn’t be taking the kitten after all. They asked me to contact the business owner. I called and emailed the business and asked for a refund since they advertise a 30 day Money Back Guarantee for any reason on their website. The man I spoke to on the phone said to email them, which i have numerous times. I have texted them and called them. I received a text stating they had the kitten and my money would be refunded within 5 business days to my Venmo account, then they asked me for a second phone number to process the transaction. I explained I didin’t have another number. They texted back asking for my other phone number and please send it fast. I told them this was starting to sound like a scam and I was going to contact the better business bureau and I haven’t heard another word from them and I haven’t gotten my money back either.
