I started looking for freelancers to do the copy for my new product launch. He contacted me through Upwork based on my job post. Sent me to his website and looked at his testimonials, filled out a questionnaire, and we had a phone conversation. He sounded sincere but he has just taken my money and ran. He has not provided any proof of work over the past 7 weeks. Every time we try to connect there’s a conference, an emergency, a surprise vacation. I have called him 15 times in the past week b/c he was supposed to provide me with the final review of my launch materials. No show and no call back. I have paid him 6500 upfront! I want my money back.
